Saw Daniel buying chips at Bellagio as I was playing so I decided to go get his autograph on a Cardplayer magazine. I was pretty nervous since he was busy counting his stacks of money and all and I didn't really want to intrude, but he was super nice about it. Weird thing is that getting his autograph made my day more than my biggest winning sessions in poker....I'm weird eh?But anyway, just wanted to say 'Thanks Daniel for being so nice.'

He is by far the nicest of the pros that I have met. A lot of the other ones will give you an autograph or a picture or may talk to you but they don't smile at all and you get a feeling that they think you are a pain in the a ss.

I've had the misfortune of being at tourney tables with a few guys like Forrest, Men Nguyen and others and they are pretty jovial guys in general. I'm not much of an autograph/star seeker but I do have 2 auto'd poker photos in my poker room, Flack and Harman as they are me and the gf's most watched/admired playaz. I got Flack's auto after the USPC broke one night a few years back on a photo I bought off the WSOP site when they were selling photos. Him and his gf were extremely nice and he talked about the tourney and his strat going forward for about 10 min or so with me without any motivation, he's a very exhuberant talker once he gets going and especially if he has just gotten into a wacky hand recently. My gf was born with one kidney so obv. Jen Harman was a natural player for her to take a liking to. I surprised my gf one Christmas by telling Jen about my gf's kidney condition and how she also has to watch her health as well, etc and asked if I could send a photo through the mail for an auto for her for X-mas and she told me that she would send one herself just to send her the address. Within 5 days or so a photo was on my doorstep after work one day. I was really amazed. Both great peeps as are most playaz including our leader obv.

thats funny how Daniel's autograph is better than your biggest winning session. But meeting Daniel is pretty cool-you can play poker whenever but not meet Daniel whenever

By far, Daniel is the best when it comes to his fans. He is so warm and personable. When he knows you are from FCP, he really lights up. I think most pros are quite surprised how excited we get when we meet them. Kathy Leibert was extremely nice and seemed touched that I asked for her autograph. The only pro I met (or should I say saw) that was an azz was Phil Hellmuth. Silly guy is wearing a black leather jacket in the middle of July in Vegas. He walks by, I say hi and he turns up his nose. When leaving the restroom, Jennifer Harman walks by me and I just said so casually "Hi Jennifer" and she looked up surprised, smiled and said hi. She seems real sweet. Oh... and Jennifer Leigh (Jennicide) is extremely gracious and sweet. She is definately a must meet and if you are a guy, she has a hot publicity photo that she is more than happy to sign. Oh... and Harry Demetriou is so down to earth in person... and very tall... and a hottie.But Daniel... no one tops him. That is why I have been hanging out on this forum for almost 2 years. No man has ever been able to capture my attention that long and I am just a fan!

I don't think they let us take pictures of the pros while they're playing in Bobby's room. But I'll give it a try. I'll just hang my outdated bulky camera around my neck while I play and hope Daniel passes by .
