Hand taken from my poker league's recent $200 buyin LHE championship event.Blinds 100/200, 3rd level. Hero has app. 10k avg for table. Hero is button with 9c/9h. All fold to button, button raises, SB folds, BB (my gf/mod LAG, about 10k also) re-raises, hero raises, BB calls.Flop 8c/5c/2c. BB bets, hero raises, BB re-raises, hero calls.Turn Jd. BB bets, hero calls.River 10c. BB checks, Hero bets, BB raises, Hero.......I don't play a ton of LHE mainly playing it during Horse tourneys/games really so I'm curious for others take on the playout of this hand. What range can we put villain on? Rest assured the gf and I have discussed this one over dinner a few times the past week and I'm sure at our PLO champ. tonight it will come up again.

I would've checked behind on the river, it was a terrible card for you. Very unorthodox play by her on the river, she must've known you were worth the bet.

You played it alright but I check behind on the river. Folding on the river is pretty bad tho, the pot is too big to fold, there are a lot of hands u can beat. To me, it sounds like she knows you are willing to bet if she shows weakness so she played you good.

You are almost never check-raised on this river.Therefore, I will always value bet it when it is checked to me.You must think you are good after villain checks.Oh and I can't fold this big pot just to save 1 more bet.I call the raise without shame.--CM
