Pics in case you want to see my mutilated thumb......kind of graphic! Thank goodness it was a clean cut- Before the stitches, the X-acto knife went through both sides and literally cut my thumb in half just above the knucklefinger1.jpg- Bloody mess after getting the stitches done, eww...finger2.jpg- My marshmallow finger after having it bandaged up.....mmmmmmm Marshmallows.....finger3.jpg

It happened around 12:15 PM and didn't start hurting until about 3PM. The emergency dept. nurse wrapped it up nice when i first got there and it wasn't too bad. After waiting for a few hours wiaiting in ER it started throbing and then started to become quite painful. Finally at 5:25 PM they froze it and stitched me up...P.S. it bleed like a biotch when i cut it...never bleed like that before

I did a similar thing to my toe (sorry no pics) but I remember that delayed pain also, your post is bringing back painful memories lol. I remember not sleeping at all because of the throbbing pain.
