JoeyFinngars 0 Posted August 22, 2007 Share Posted August 22, 2007 Thumb!Was working at a job site yesterday and decided that cutting a piece of plastic length wise with and X-acto knife was a good idea. Needless to say things did not turn out well. I ended up going through my thumb with the knife cutting vertivally through the nail and nail bedding ending just above the knuckle. Spent 5 1/2 hours in emergency at Credit Valley Hospital and had six stitches (one through the nail to hold it together). Got the day off og work because of it and have spent today hoped up o T3's with codene (sp?)...And that is my story...P.S. I took some pictures of my thumb with my phone while waiting to be stitched up but don't know how to get them on th computer.....any thoughts on how to do this? Link to post Share on other sites

You should call tomorrow and complain that you are still in a lot of pain, Joey.
