FCP Promotions - Negreanu Open

The Negreanu Open is a series of weekly $10 + $1 tournaments played on Poker Stars where players can earn cumulative points to win quarterly prizes and earn a spot to compete in the year end Tournament of Champions where one ultimate winner will be crowned the 2009 Champion and receive an additional $250 cash money to be deposited to their Pokerstars account.

The 2009 season is broken up into four quarters ran nearly every Wednesday night at 9 PM EST on Poker Stars. To see an exact list of dates played please visit the FAQ section through the link at the top of any page.

This years season is broken down with a 2:1 ratio of No Limit Hold Em games and H.O.R.S.E. Every third week is HORSE, which is a mixed game that rotates levels of Hold'em, Omaha high-low, Razz (Seven card stud low), Stud (Seven card stud high), and Eight-or-better (Seven card stud high-low). One nice thing about these tournaments is every player starts with a double chipstack (3,000 chips versus the standard 1,500) and the blinds move at a slower than normal level to allow for more play.
