FCP Promotions - Negreanu Open

The Negreanu Open is a series of weekly low buy-in tournaments played on Poker Stars where players can earn cumulative points to win quarterly prizes and earn a spot to compete in the year end Tournament of Champions where one ultimate winner will be crowned the 2011 Champion and receive an additional $250 cash money to be deposited to their Pokerstars account.

The 2011 season is broken up into four quarters ran nearly every Wednesday night at 9 PM EST on Poker Stars. We've changed things up this year by changing HORSE to 8-Game and having some weeks be Knockout and also some weeks will be $5.50 buyins.

One nice thing about these tournaments is every player starts with a double chipstack (3,000 chips versus the standard 1,500) and the blinds move at a slower than normal level to allow for more play.
