I feel like a working stiff!

25 Mar 2005

Yesterday I put in an eight hour day of doing audio for my new video game set for release in July. I am so anxious and excited for it's release I can't take it!

Today was a bit of a longer day. I was on set by 10:00am. We had a lunch break at around 12:30pm and ate at an awesome Thai restaurant in LA called Chan Dara (310 N.Larchment Blvd, 323-467-1052). I liked the food and the "atmosphere" so much that I logged the address into my Treo.

After lunch it was back to work. I head back into makeup and was on set for the next six hours or so. I didn't get out of there until about 9:30pm, but I feel awesome about the way things went. I've never been involved with a more high end production than the crew that's working on STACKED.

I've done stuff for other companies where they put me up in a hotel and it's usually a dump. The STACKED people put me up in an unbelievable suite on Sunset with a great view of the city… and a beday. Sorry, I have no clue how to spell beday! They didn't have to do that, but the fact that they did is so in line with the way they do business. Everything is top quality and the game will be several cuts above it's competitors when it's all said and done. Mark my words.

As I mentioned in my last blog, I had a few blog entries already written in my head, but I just never had a chance to get them. The one about my father is extremely important to me and I want to make sure that I have some time to really think about what I want to say before I write it. It'll get written, I'm just not sure when.

Anyway, it's 10:30pm and I am spent. I have to clock in tomorrow morning at 9:00am and definitely need my beauty sleep. It is so surreal for me, I actually feel responsible almost like I have a "real job."
