Planning on calling down if led into on the turn, fearing JJ/AA, bet/calling if checked to, calling river, or betting both streets if checked to.

Anyone just call the flop 3-bet and raise a non-A turn?

Good.

I would just call the flop 3-bet (but not with the intention of raising the turn). Villain is repping JJ,AA, or QQ, and we're behind that range. It's possible that viillain's range includes a few more hands, which could make us a slight favorite, but even then I think the information we give by capping the flop likely outweighs whatever slight immediate value it may have. Plus, I'm content to let villain keep the lead (I would hate to cap and then get check-raised on a blank turn).

Does AK ever play like this?

Not normally when we know he cant have the AK of hearts. Without a read I wouldnt include it in his range, but it might be there sometimes.

If we had a read that villain was 3-betting the flop with AK here consistently then it would make this an easy cap if its not already a cap against an unknown.

AK only plays it like that if its AKh, to which his line is then extremely standard IMO. I don't see any other way of playing the flop the way you did because his hand is AJ QQ more then its JJJ or AA IMO. Holding the Kh also helps us because it does rule out the AKh combo. THe dude could also be putting in a lot of bets with Axh too

no one likes to fold AK in low limits.

I wonder how correct/incorrect that strategy is, given if the table is aggressive. My guess is it's probably not a bad play at all, except capping oop there is retarded.
