BB is drunk and claims he is on drugs, but he is a decent player.
Cutoff is a little loose, very passive.
There are usually 6+ to every flop since I have sat down.
I am UTG+2 with Ah5h.
UTG calls, I call, MP1 calls, Cutoff calls, SB folds, BB checks.
Flop: As 9s 2s.
BB checks, UTG checks, I bet, MP1 folds, Cutoff calls, BB raises, UTG folds, I call, Cutoff calls.
Turn Kc (As 9s 2s Kc)
BB checks, I bet, Cutoff calls, BB folds.
River 5d (As 9s 2s Kc 5d)
I bet, Cutoff calls.
Turn and river yes? I bet this river 100% of the time, tell me I'm not crazy.

If cutoff is loose passive, bet away until you meet resitance. Up until the river there's at least a reasonable chance you were out kicked though.

Do you trust your passive read enough to bet/fold? If so go ahead and bet.
I probably check/call because I want to get to showdown.

What you want to do is irrelevant regarding what the proper decision is.
Bet the river, and you're good to fold to a raise if he's a standard passive guy. Somehow he got there or slowplayed something retarded. You usually know when you're beaten in these situations. Is he passive enough preflop to avoid raising with AK? If not, then don't be surprised if he turns over something like AK. A9 is also a real possibility here, but I'm not concerned enough to miss a bet.

I am definatly folding to a raise. He is definatly passive enough to not raise JJ and lower, as well as AK. My line against him is to always bet any decent hand until he tells me otherwise. I only posted this hand because a good player made a comment about it. This seemed so standard to me that I was stunned a seemingly good player would think otherwise. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. It can throw you off when something that seems so obvious and standard seems off to someone else.

Yeah, I don't get it at all.
I like the way you played the hand.

Without reading replies...
When BB checks the turn, I'm definitely betting. A free card would be disastrous, especially with a passive CO behind us.
We can also make CO fold a better ace (though not all the time if he's passive). In any event it'll cause him to question ace-brick.
I like the river lead as well.
I say you're not TOO crazy... and "standard!"

river is definitely a bet. bb has obviously played this hand poorly, either by not following up with his flush draw, or giving away free cards with two pair/set.
in situations like these, you may well be behind, but you're only behind to horribly misplayed hands. i guess that makes me feel alright when i lose them. people are definitely calling this river with worse two pair or a pair of aces, both are very reasonable hands given the action. its a good spot for a value bet.

I agree with "standard", but I would like some of whatever the BB is drinking; he is playing on another plane

Why is this hand even worthy of a post? Nothing special about it or the action.

BB is a decent player who is currently drunk and possibly on drugs. I could smell the Vodka from my seat.
