I figured my ear lobe lump thread was so successful that I'd go down another path...

So about once every few months, one these bastards will flare up. It's mostly a dull pain inside one of the nasal passages (on the inside of the nostril), but it hurts like a mug if you touch your nose. Anyone else deal with these? They usually go away after a few days and a week at the longest, but I'm wondering if there's any quicker remedy.

Edit: I suppose that technically, these are 'intra-nasal'. If a mod could help out with the title change, I'd be appreciative.

I know what you are talking about man. They are awful and annoying. Sometimes you can pop them but then it gets too tender to touch.

I then have to resort to picking my other nostril instead.

I'm no doc, but I reckon the only way you can get bacteria in your nose to cause pimples is from constant picking... try a kleenex, or wash your hands more often.

Oh the ear lobe thread. Brings back memories. I'm actually recreating something nasty on the backside of my ear. I bet its caused by my new glasses. Now I'm not wearing my glasses and my eyes hurt and I'm getting tired.

Wierd things in my nose? Not yet, but I can't wait.

The way to go with these nose-zits is to pop them early. It relieves the pressure and the pain, and there's no ugly red mark that anyone can see.

The more I looked into it...they may not be pimples since they don't always pop...though that's what I've always called them. Apparently, they're often caused by a small nick inside the nose or an in-grown nose hair. In this particular case, I'm betting that it was caused by nose hair that I plucked out a few days ago. Suggested remedies include applying hydrogen peroxide with a q-tip and then some neosporin.

Just make sure to keep your other nostril clean, that will make breathing and cocaine consumption easier.

One time, I had an ingrown nostril hair come through my nose on the outside. That was some freaky **** man.
