if you were gonna play this you should raise to steal the button and take the lead. w/ 2 callers and closing action, i don't hate the preflop call. but if i raised and the button 3-bet and everyone else folded, i'd give it up in a second i think.

on the flop the play depends on the table dynamics and your image. if my image was loose (it usually is) i'd lead, other times i'd let others do the betting. when it gets back to you on the flop, you might as well smooth call and push any turn (567xhh is what you're gonna represent).

pushing here only folds the button's fd. i'd like to let him come along.

I probably raise preflop, but limping is fine. It so prettay.

You have to take a little while, then call. You have to try and get the button to come along for the ride.

Now get back to PokerHaus and tell them you are very very sorry for cheating on them. If BK ever sees this thread he may just cry, thinking you don't trust his kind words of advice.

I don't hate the limp preflop.

I play this the same way i play 88xx in this hand. I almost always lead. Not pot , just a little bet.

You are getting action from very few hands. 88xx and AAxx with a flush draw. If noone has one of these hands , you are not getting much action no matter what you do check bet raise anything.

So lead something not strong to make 88xx think he has the hook on you and AAxx his flush is probably good.

thanks for the replies guys. i basically hollywooded for about 5 seconds, then called and the flop raiser folded, and i won the pot with quads vs a 9 high naked flush draw

i posted this on pookerhaus too, and bkice basically said what you guys said, except i shoudl hav snap called on the flop looking to make it look like i had a flush draw or straight draw or combination there of
