Is there a hand converter that works for Ultimate Bet? Enlighten me, please.

Here's a hand that you will probably hate.

Lately, I've been playing more aggressively. I've been loosening my structured strategy and playing the opponent more. In the short run, my results have been good. This is a $20 sng and I haven't seen more than one flop so far, and I'm ready to start mixing it up. A couple hands earlier I raised pf with 5h4h and Killbot called me. Killbot called my cb and took the hand on the turn when I c/f'd.

I limp with my AQo. I'll raise here most of the time, but I switch it up. Killbot raised me super quick. He's been raising a lot. Too much. I decided it was time to take control of this hand.

http://www.neildewhurst.com/hand-converter/ << Supposedly works, but I know there have been issues with it for UB.

Open limping here is icky.

I limp here about 25% of the time. I switch it up. There is nothing wrong with that as far as I know. Why do you feel you have to always raise?

If he has AK, then he'd need 3-1 to make the call since he should put you on a high PP. It really depends on what type of player Killbot and whether he's the type to put you on a hand or just looks at his own cards.

If it's the former, then the push is ok; if the latter, then I don't. I don't mind the limp preflop; it's ok to mix it up every so often.

I will open limp in some situation, and with some hands. This is approximately never one of those situations for me.

Raising makes this hand easier to play throughout.

Open pushing would make it easiest. However, danger is my middle name.

Obviously shoving is the easiest.

By l/rr'ing you lose value from the speculative hands that would call a raise, but limp in otherwise. You also don't give yourself any chance to get away from it if you are beaten preflop, and that is probably my main problem with the line.

I'm very certain that AK will reraise me all in preflop a high percentage of the time here.

youre only getting called by hands that beat you, never by anything you beat

you just turned AQo into 27o

So your plan is to put 400 out of your 1135 stack in preflop and fold to a shove getting over 2/1?
