Preflop raise with this hand OOP doesn't make any sense to me. Change that A to a diamond then it makes sense.

Start playing like a maniac and this becomes a premium hand. I'm not quite that bad, but I still raise this kind of hand regularly when a table is very shorthanded (3-5 players).

Oh wait. I take that back. I don't usually raise UTG. I'll usually work it in if I get a huge stack going.
