just started a shothanded $1-2nl game. have no read on villian villian has about $75. i have him covered.
i limp in c/o with a-4o villian is bb.
2-3-5 rainbow flop
villian bets $5 i raise to 15 he calls
turn is a 4
villian goes all in for $56
do i call here hoping for a split?

OP, could you please include ALL of the information in your posts? It's outlined in both stickies at the top of the page. You NEED to include all of the action, as well as pot size, and # of players dealt in, and players still in the pot on each street, etc.

I would probably call here. If he called on the flop with a gutshot then more power to him. More likely he has a hand like 5-4 and just made two pair. Perhaps its a split but I just don't buy it. I'll pay this off.

IMHO calling has to be wrong. I think you might be chopping but he might have a 6, if you had raised it up it would be much harder to put him on a six.

You can't let them get there for cheap and then donate your stack.

I'm not big on calling an all-in if all we're hoping for is a chop pot at best.
