I do think you're ahead though. You made such a large pre flop bet. 8x's BB. that I doubt u get 22 55 44 calling. Maybe. You could very well be up against queens, jacks, 9's. this would all have to depend on how solid you thought the players at the table were though.

Well, I told the guy that I thought he was full of it. He said he thought I was full of it and that he didn't have anything.

My read was that he had a club for the flush draw. When I asked him, he confirmed that he did have a club...which made it quite likely that he could improve...and I couldn't push my whole stack in so early with those odds.
