I've wanted a Chocolate Lab forever and found a deal on one I couldn't pass up yesterday.

She was born on Valentines Day and my wife named her Sam.

Any other new additions out there you'd like to share?

(hopefully the pics work, first time trying)Click to view attachment

Labs are great dogs.
Completely loyal, smart enough to be useful yet not so smart that they begin to develop human-like complexes (like certain Shepherd breeds, who are almost too smart to be kept as "house pets").

My next dog is a lab.

My girlfriends dog is in the too smart category. He does'nt like being embarassed, whenever I laugh at him or if he does something stupid he growls at me, his demeanour completely changes and he tries to intimidate me.

Over/under on how many people say their own dog > than all?

My schnauzer was > than all when he was alive.

I'd love to get another dog some day when I'm responsible enough to take care of one.

My family got a puppy back in October from the local Animal Protective League. Aparently we decided that having two kids under 5 wasn't enough of a challenge. But seriously, she's been great. If you care to see some pics, check her out here......Clover

I need to add some new pictures as she probably weighs about 45lbs now.

Good luck with your new dog!
