Back when the show first started I was on the bus and overheard the driver and a passenger having this conversation:
Passenger: "So, what about TV? Any new shows you like so far?"
Driver: "Well, um... I've actually been watching Queer as Folk. I'm not gay or anything, but I really like the characters."
Passenger: "Yeah, I started watching it too. I'm not, you know, either, but the characters are interesting and the stories are really well done."
I thought this was pretty cool. Two straight guys very secure in their masculinity.
The L Word is also a well done show. I'd recommend it.
Doesn't seem that way to me. Seems like they're trying pretty hard to make sure people don't think they're gay, based on a tv show they watch, with gay characters.

I would LOVE to over-hear that one.
