Edward Norton has been set by Marvel Studios to play Bruce Banner in Universal Pictures "The Incredible Hulk", which is set for a June 13th 2008 release reports The BBC.
I like Ed Norton and all, but did the Hulk really need another movie?

Yeah, but will he be recycling when he plays the part?

Norton rocks, although I'm not so sure I'll be rushing to the theater to see it. He's usually very good picking scripts, it's either an excellent script coupled with Norton being a Hulk fan or he's simply getting paid top coin.

Until I see the movie, this is the most likely explanation. If the movie is awesome, I will happilly recant.

It's not a sequel. I saw an interview with Avi Arad, Marvel's TV & Movie executive, and he said the new movie would be a "redo." In other words, he acknowledges the Bana movie sucked, and the next one will be much better.

I wont pay to watch it in theaters or probably even rent it, but when it finally is on the movie channels, I'll probably watch it, just because I'm a Norton fan.
Bana's Hulk was bad, but not really his fault, IMO
Just poorly written

Someone explain to me why nobody is pitching a fit about scrawny Mr. Norton playing the Hulk. Yet, everyone complains that Topher Grace was cast as Venom.

Have you ever seen American History X? Norton can pull off the big huge jacked guy just fine.

set for release next summer but filming hasn't started? Don't these big *** special effect blow up action things take a while?
And Norton's good but most of marvel's comic movie suck so previews will determine the mood on this one.

I'm not a Hulk aficionado, but since when has Banner ever been built?

Thats the whole point, the Hulk is big, but when he is not the hulk, he is not a big guy. Norton fits the role fine, although I think he'll make a funny looking hulk lol

I can't believe I'm saying this in a condocending manner but have you ever read a comic book?
