I think we should have a challenge for the best playoff beard on the FCP hockey forums, with before and after pictures. Winner could get some kind of prize, i dunno..

aside from that, which player do you think will have the best playoff beard come june? My vote goes for Johnnie Madden, Mad Dog always looks gnarly in the playoffs.

How is everyones beard coming along? I am going for no shaving at all (trimming included) so I am already looking nasty.

I will chip in $10 to whoever grows a neckwarmer... incidentally I'm in the process of growing my treeplanting beard, so it will coincide neatly with the playoff drive. I'll post before/after pictures.

I had to shave on Saturday, but I'm pretty scruffy again already. Just can't sustain a beard, it gets too annoying and looks too stupid.

I last shaved on the morning of the 12th...just before the Devil's playoff opener. I look ridiculous with any sort of facial hair, but have decided that it's a fun superstition. Hopefully it pays off.
