Don't forget that a lot of the poker rooms out there share the same players within a network, so there are not really as many poker rooms to choose from as you think.
For example, the iPoker network has at least 20 different poker rooms sharing their players, including VC Poker, Noble and Titan.
Player numbers has got to be a big factor in whichever card room you choose - some of the smaller rooms are known for having fishy players at certain games, but a big room will guarantee you will have a wide range of poker games to choose from 24/7.
