Hey guys, as some of you might know I've made a move towards cash games about a week ago from playing strictly sngs for a long time. I haven't been able to get many hours/hands in but I did get just under 2k hands with 7BB/100 hands at the $1/2. I've decided to start pretty low because I want to get a hang of it and beat a certain level before moving onto the next. My question is for cash game players...for each level, what do you think your BB/100 should be after 10k hands to be crushing the game? to be beating the game decently?

cheers.

limit or NL? big bets or big blinds?

I can only speak for NL:

If you are using pokertracker to get this number, what you are seeing is 'big bets' as poker tracker was made for limit games. If you are doing well at a level you would be running at 3-4 ptbb/100, which is 6-8 big blinds/100.

If you are killing a level, you are probably around 7-8ptbb/100 (or 14-16 big blinds/100). Most people feel this is about the max long term win rate. This is all dependant on skill level of course in relation to the level you are playing.
