I tightened up a lot because the game was much tougher overall.

Cool, Thanks for the updates Daniel. Kinda short but sweet ( I guess) lol.
Anyway was playing at the cincinatti kid and Tony was talking about how you ran the 10-20
game. He said you made a bet or something on how many hands in a row you could win without
looking at your cards? He said it went for 17 hands. I find this a bit hard to believe.
I may have misunderstood but do you remember anything like that at the charity casino days??

ps. I found some old articles about that feud with Annie Duke and I totally agree with all your points. Although I don't know her personally from what I have seen on Tv she plays without class. Just my opinion.

Funny you should mention this i was reading some old articals about the feud today. This is really in the past though and both players would of changed and matured in this time. How much and for the better is subjective. The point is that this is old and nothing will be achived be discussing this that hasnt been recorded in a number of other places.

While that annie topic has been done to death, the tale about the 17 wins playing blind at 10-20 sounds really cool and that i havnt heard of before. Some verification of this urban myth worthy tale would be appreciated.

This is pretty much impossible. But if it was done I am assuming it was in NL.

Yeah I know I found it WAY hard to believe, but the guy is a Solid Source. I remember back in the days when Poker starting getting a little popular it was in the mid 90's in Toronto. Alot of us were new to the game and alot of fish. I would like to say i wasn't one of them but of coarse looking back probably was. A group of about 10 or so including Daniel were pretty much dominating all the games and it was known to avoid 10 -20 and stick to 5-10. So if this Urban Legend did happen it would have had to be a game full of newbies or fish, Very Short handed and some sick LUCK..........

Yeah I was not aware of the Annie Duke feud. Sorry to bring it up again, but I honestly am not jumping on the bandwagon man. I don't know the woman but I can't help not liking her one bit. She rubs me the wrong way. She looks and acts DIRTY. Plus I read an e-mail Daniel wrote where she walked around the Bellagio in BARE FEET. THat friggin NAsty...........................My 2 cents.
