One of my friends is doing a paper on poker players and asked if I could get some people to fill out a questions below. I know it is quite a few questions but if you are bored at work and want to help someone out.... just post your answers below or PM me them if you don't want to make it public.
I didn't want to post this in general because I am looking for semi-serious answers.

In some parts of the interview questions Texas Hold'em will be referred to simply as Poker.

Why do you play poker? What is it that draws you to the game?
Do you play against the game or the players?
If you were to rank yourself on a scale of 1-10 how well do you think you play Texas Hold'em?
What do you think you do particularly well? What do you think you have mastered about the game?
What do you wish to improve or work on? Is there anything you are trying to learn from the game? Any trick you are trying to master? Example: Bluffing, tell signs reading people etc.
How long have you been playing?
When did you start?
How did you get into the game?
How often do you play? Once a week? Every night? Whenever you feel like it?
How did you get into the schedule you are in now?
Was it an instant draw to the game or did you gradually work your way into playing often?
What do you think is the hardest thing to learn about the game?
Do you play at all in a casino like atmosphere with a lot of money at stake? If so how do you know when to call it quits and stop?
Do you think the game of Texas Hold'em is addicting? If so, why?
What is your favorite part about the game?
Do you ever take what you have learned while playing the game and apply it to your daily life? If so can you give an example of when this has happened?
For example: While playing the game you get really good at reading people. Do you use this kill outside of the game to read people on the streets?
What is your definition of a good poker player?
Have you ever played more then one variable of Texas Hold'em and if so which do you prefer and why? For example Online poker vs. poker you play in a bar, casino or just a friendly no cash game with friends.
What are the different benefits to playing face to face vs. playing online? Do your strategies change and if so how?
Do you play different forms of poker or simply Texas Hold'em? What do you find so intriguing from Texas Hold'em that other poker games may not include?
How seriously do you take Texas Hold'em? Is it simply a game for you? Is it a job? Do you get extremely upset when you lose or do you simply brush it off and try again next time?
There are some who say that once you play a game as work it is no longer considered a game but rather a source of income and therefore has all the fun taken out of it? Do you agree or disagree and why?
A lot of Texas Hold'em is about tells. Do you have any tells that you are aware of? What tells have you noticed on others?
Are there any poker stories that you can remember and are particularly fond of? Feel free to digress.
Have you ever researched the game? Read books, looked things up online, listened to poker radio or poker pod casts? Or did you simply learn by playing?
Are there other ways that you enjoy poker without paying it? Example: follow the World Series of Poker? Do you collect poker chips or have poker decorations etc.
How important is bluffing when playing Texas Hold'em? Could you ever win the game without bluffing the entire time?
What is the goal of poker? Is it to win? Is it to get the money? Is it to defeat your opponents?
Are there unspoken rules in poker? If so, what are they?
What do other people think about your love for the game? Do they mind at all, do they approve or disapprove?
