Full Version: Bud Light Stanley Cup Hats
When this promotion was going on in Canada (October/November) I ended up drinking way more than I normal would... just for the hats. I dont even really like bud light. I ended up getting Penguins, Senators, Nordiques, Sabres, Leafs, and Canucks... and will not let go of the Penguins for anything. Sorry. I know when they had the promotion in Canada, the hats would be in the top center and you could usually poke around with your finger to see what team you'll get.

Yeah, they were top centre, but in Ontario, you don't just go pick from a stack of cases, you just ask for one and some fat girl goes to the back to get it.

Ahhh yeah, I forgot - the Beer Stores. I forgot you were even in Canada haha. I've actually gone through multiple layers of a pallet looking for the right hat. I'll see if I can find one for you on the next trip.
I work at a Beer store and have acquired a massive collection of collectible hats, T-Shirts and other borderline crap. The Budlight hats were pretty sweet.
haha, i was going to make a thread about this today. I got 3 cases of beer in the last 4 days and im trying to get the Leafs. So far i got the 1984 Islanders, 1993 Canadians and 1972 bruins. =(

Hrmm now I'm probably gonna need to go buy some budlight this weekend. I better get the Habs first try because I don't particularily like Bud Light lol.
Bud Light beer isn't too bad, I got a Kings hat in October which I wear somewhat often surprisingly.
I'm gonna shoot for an Oilers, Habs, Pens, Flames or Devils hat. I'd be happy with most of the other teams as well, so I like my odds of satisfaction this time around.

I live in Ottawa and several beer stores have walk in fridges where you grab your own stuff. You should try and find one.

A friend of my dads just dropped me off the 93 habs and the 35 maroons. Sweet, now I don't even need to buy that bud light crap!
My friend and I bought a case each today, we got Canes and Oilers hats, LOL. He traded his Oilers ('90 champs) to me, so I'm happy.

I remembered I had an old friend who now works at the Beer Store, and I made her look through every case to find a Pens one for me. After like a week of looking, she finally found one.
In the meantime, I had bought another case to see if I could get lucky, and got a Montreal Maroons hat, which is quite nice, and would have been my 2nd choice after the Pens (simply due to the fact that I wouldn't be wearing a rival hat
)
