Yes, a little taste now will give him an idea of what the NHL is like. Players can be told numerous times how much better the calibre of hockey is but until they experience it for themself they really have no idea.

I'd like to see him play, but I wonder if he's actually ready. He's a full year younger than JMFJ, right?

By the way, he's mentioned wanting to take #44. I REALLY hope he does. My Stars SN is BleedBlue44 and I currently look like a hoser.

By all accounts EJ is physically ready for the NHL.

Basically everytime I see him he looks like he could already be a 2nd pairing guy on most NHL teams right now.

Whats people's opinion on JACK Johnson? Will he be a top pairing type in 4/5 years?

Offensive potential?

I definitely think Johnson will have the talent to be on the top pairing. It all depends on who else LA has on the blueline by then. He may end up on the second pairing. I haven't seen Johnson play all that much but I get the feeling he will be a very good two-way d-man. I don't think he's going to put up tremendous offensive numbers but I think he will be solid at both ends.
