how sick are the Wild right now? 9 games straight they've won, given up the second least in the league (3 ahead of the canucks) whilst scoring 221 which is pretty much middle of the road.

can gaborik, demitra and rolston take this team to the finals?

discuss

--incidentally, demitra stated that if gaborik stays healthy for a season he thinks he would score 60 regularly. that is pretty nasty! i hope so for my sake as i got him in the fchl!--

With Gaborik in the lineup they are looking pretty unstoppable. As a Nucks fan it's disgusting watching the scores. Minnesota always wins! Luckily the Nuck's are too.

I don't know what the stat is for Minny's record with and w/o gaborik but I wouldn't be surprised that if Gaborik gets injured AGAIN they tank.

That being said Minnesota is the only team I wouldn't want to see in the first round.

ALSO don't read to much into that division leader thing. It'll all be over tonight. smile.gif wink.gif icon_biggrin.gif icon_dance.gif

I agree.

yeah, I think I said it before. I can't believe the Nucks record since Christmas (I believe 27-5-5) and yet the Wild just took the division lead during Vancouver's day off.

the Nucks have 2 games in hand so that's good for me...it's been a fun battle to watch.

OP, out of curiosity (assuming ur a Wild fan) do people still cheer for the Stars?

I'll answer your question as if you asked me.

Some people believe that the division titles etc. that the North Stars won should be hanging at the X. I don't know if I agree with that. I do know that Mike Modano had a few quotes after the franchise moved that have soured most Minnesotans against the Stars and more specifically him. He was definitely booed at the 03-04 all-star game.

Interesting note Ottawa last week at the Wynn was 15-1 anyone in Vegas jump on that. My 3 picks are Ottawa, Minny, and Pitt on value Ott is out now Minny is great value at 22-1.

Minny is now 14-1 at my book.

i'm actually a devils fan (what can i say, i love the trap! j/k) but i have a soft spot for the wild. gaborik is my favourite player in the league so i've always followed them since they came into the nhl. the wild fans are pretty crazy but i have no idea if they still cheer for the stars or not.

Whats San Jose?

I saw on bowmans.com that they were around 14-1/15-1. I think thats a good number.
my regular site in the past, sportingbet, doesnt even have a Stanley odds page.

anyone recommend a good sports site, hockey specifically.

That has to be one of the biggest IF's in the history of hockey.

Gaborik and Havlat are two names I use all the time to signify talent, but brittle and unhealthy. Last night at my draft I referred to Kelvim Escobar as the Gaborik of my baseball rotisserie pitching staff. Great when he plays, but a guarantee to miss time.

his first 3 seasons he played 75+ games but since then its been injury after injury. after the extended lay off this time round i am hoping he *knocks on wood* that the wild have cleared the problem up. i guess we'll see if he makes it through this season healthy and how long he lasts next time.

I would recommend Bowmans they got bought out by bet three sixty five in December but its reputation is still there as they are keeping the name. I have had no problems with them regarding payouts usually takes about 3 days and I have a cheque at my house.

The ingame betting feature is amazing and plenty of gifts are available if you time it right. Good luck let me know if you have any questions.
