Looking for river advice, raising didn't seem like it had much value, maybe a good AXd calls but I doubt much else.

I checked the turn because people love to bluff the river when you check the turn, I felt he was on a flush draw but could have something like a set also and go for a check raise which I really don't want. Kinda wanted to keep the pot small

He's got a big bluff range. 89 / any missed flush draw could just hit the "Bet Pot" button that UB has. He might just have like AQ and be value betting, but would fold to a raise.

A raise would only gain value from a weaker two pair, and depending on the player, he might fold a junky two pair like T7 or T2 or whatever he might have completed the SB with.

That said, it could be a slowplay where you didn't cooperate on the turn. You don't wanna raise into 77 or 22.

So yeah, a raise accomplishes nothing if he's bluffing, and often nothing if he isn't bluffing and you have him beat. And it's really going to cost you when he's ahead. Good flat call.
