I agree. The blinds and stack sizes were rarely mentioned. The lame announcer's audio sounded like they were doing the announcing from their basement (maybe they were, since all announcing is usually done after the event, anyway). Very poor audio quality. Luckily the Americans were spared this disaster of a broadcast.
What's funny is that it's the first poker show that I recall to be shown on Sporstnet, TSN and The Score. I think this was done to make sure poker fans couldn't escape this vomit inducing debacle. I couldn't stop watching it because it kept getting worse and I was curious to see if they would let someone's pair beat a flush! Luckily, at least Barb looked nice.
Hopefully, Citytv's broadcast of the WPT event from Fallsview Casino this Friday at 8pm, won't be an embarrassment like this piece of garbage was!
