I thought about raising this preflop instead of limping but i don't know how to play if i miss flop or if i hit one pair and i get played back at.

I suppose raising or folding flop would be wrong.

Call or fold turn?

Fold Preflop.

As played, call turn.

Why fold preflop? Call turn. Q-J in MP2 or so is not a bad call preflop in an unraised pot.

Ok maybe folding is a little weak but Q J is an easily dominated hand that can get you into trouble, like in this hand for example. Often you hit a pair and don't know where you stand. If you are experienced and are good with reads you can play hands like this a little easier. But this is like A 10 if you flop an ace. You can avoid these tough decisions by just folding before the flop and waiting for premium hands.

For now, fold this preflop until you get comfortable with hold'em. I fold this preflop at most tables I play, and 10-handed I would only play this on the button or cutoff with a few limpers.

You need to raise the flop. This lets you fold cheaply if he comes back on the flop, and more often than not, he'll either just fold on the flop or call and then check most turns. Then you can decide what to do since you're in position and have seized control of the betting.

I said "the flop" a lot in this post.
