I have been known to post some silly and crazy posts...A lot of people also know that I am kidding most of the time...I have been known to jokingly attack my fellow friends and fellow fcpers...However at no time have I been so rude and attack some by telling them to "**** off"...I dont mind being bashed and picked on and ridiculed because of my outrageous posts and views, however I will not accept the vulgarity that was posted against me.

When I was in HS, I worked at a local pizza place and we had a Slush Puppy machine. I get the kids to drink some of the syrup telling them it was really good. All the sweet taste is in the ice, so the syrup tastes like shit. Good times.

That is why the people in Meadville are so mess up.

I used to drive past Meadville all the time, from Erie to home, and back again.

Boy did that suck in the winter. The span from Meadville to Edinboro is horrible as far as snowstorms in comparison to the surrounding area. As soon as you passed Meadville, snow all over the place. As soon as you get north of Edinboro? Dry, clear roads.

I went to Toronto this weekend. Friday we left, ice here (Pittsburgh Airport area), snow on the way, lots of snow past Meadville. Hit the NY line, not a thing. Niagara to T-dot at 2am that night, blizzard. I was wasted and passed out, so the 2 guys from FL and the girl from OK drove us.

That is not good. You do not want people from Oklahoma drving you around in a blizzard. Seriously trust me.

That picture, along with all the talk about slurpees has made me come to the conclusion that I am getting one immediately after work.

I am back people...Just want to point out that it is really sad that in Toronto 7-11s are getting rarer to find...I love the original SLURPEE...not the one from Macs(freezer or something)..it has to be a SLURPEE..

I totally agree...the 7-11 Slurpee is the best. I have no idea why it's so dead in the east. Vancouver has tonnes of 7-11s everywhere.

btw, although I have never cleaned a slurpee machine I'd imagine it to be very similar to cleaning a frozen coffee machine. let me tell ya something...it's a fukkin pain in the *** to clean it well and proper.

You know we can have a Slurpee forum with updates from different locations..

For example we can update if the machine is working( a lot of time is down or just watery)..And updates on current flavours..it would be cool....especially in the summer

Fricken Mac's took over EVERY SINGLE 7-11 location in Thunder Bay. Back in high school, we used to make special trips, past the Mac's to the 7-11 in order to get a quality Slurpee between class, even if we were 10 mins late getting back, it was well worth it. I cried a bit when the last 7-11 was converted to a Mac's.

There is actually a 7-11 very close to me....But dont go there between 12-1230 pm and 330-430 pm...There a swarm of high school kids...so annoying buying their gum and junk.

What's with canadians, slurpees, and the love affair there of? almost every canadian I've ever met loves the things, many insist that the candian 7-11 slurpee is far superior to the american version, in flavor and texture. I find this cultural quirk fascinating.

Its true..I have had Slurpees in the States, doesnt taste the same...By the way...Little known fact ..Slurpee capital of the world is Winnipeg Manitoba....

I actually knew that fact, strangely enough. Hearing that fact started my fascination and exploration of the Canadian obsession with the slurpee.
