I would just call here and take a note of what he donked with.

If he's on a flat out bluff, then there's no value in raising.

If he has two pair, with the ace, then he almost always has you beat, set, ditto, etc.

Does a naked ace really play like this?

I'm sure something like T9, etc may do this as well, but meh.

I'll tell you what I think CM would say: You expected to get to the river and get one bet in when he c/c's, you get what you expected if you just call here. Something like that tongue.gif

Win 1, lose 2 situation, as well.

Without a specific read on Villain donk-betting here with a worse hand, I just call.
His bet certainly says that he improved on the River.
Which means that you are usually behind.
Don't get greedy without the read.

Call down.
