After watching HSP and reading a few of Daniels blogs I kinda started wondering what playing props is all about,
how does it work and how can I introduce it in my homegame. Can't find anything on the internet really (could be me)
p.s.
I'm kinda new to the forum so I dunno whether this thread is in the right board so my apologies to the mod/admin in advance

I don't have all the specifics, and a search on the forum would be better then google, but basically props they play on HSP are picking sets of numbers, and using the flop as the game. So if you pick 10JQ and the flop is JJ10, you hit your prop bet hard and you win. They add suits and jacks etc to make the props more intricate but the producers were getting upset that it slowed down the game and made a distraction so they banned it the next season.
If you want to introduce it in your home game then search the forum for Daniel's explanation. But be prepared for alot of paperwork.

Seriously I don't see the fun in playing props. The only reason they play props is to get people more easily on tilt, the logic beeing that if someone is losing big in props they will tilt although they may be winning in the poker game. Just sounds like a fun killer in a home game for the degenerate gamblers. Kind of like "Pull a weed" that Doyle explained in this season of HSP. Pulling up a weed from the ground just to have SOMETHING to gamble on, brain dead IMHO.
