How many players typically enter these? Is it typically enough to cover the guaranteed amount, or is there some extra value in joining them?

The last few I have seen have either gone over the guaranteed payout (no added value) or been very close to it.

Most of the guaranteed tourneys either meet the guarantee or are very close.

The main reason to provide a guarantee is to give players a tournament of a guaranteed minimum size as opposed to providing an overlay.

I opened this thread with HIGH expectations...and unfortunately, I was disappointed...
