This is a double shootout and the play is beyond bad (first table). The hand right before this I pushed over the top of someone w/ AT and they called w/ KT and I doubled up. I got a short on a bad beat about 2 orbits before this (AQ<T7 all in on QT5 flop) and the AT is the only hand I played in between.

I think there's a 100% chance a normal raise gets called by the button and I'm not sure how often he calls a push, but he's been very loose, so I think there's a pretty good chance.

Sorry about no converter, but I couldn't get stack sizes to show up and they're important.

You're OOP after the flop - your M is about 7. You only move on if you win the table - I jam here 99% of the time

This is why you shove. Do you want to see a flop with this hand OOP if you raise and they call? Are you going to shove any flop no matter what? If so, normal raise would be ok, but I like moving all-in in this situation. Less reward, but much less risk.

I love these DS sat's, they're a really good roll builder (the WSOP ones running atm are brilliant-esp if you play 'em in the morning). Anyway, shove here because some donk will look you up with with any sort of hand A5+ K9+, very rarely in these are you behind. Even if you do get called and lose these run very frequently so its not like you've got long to wait for another one.

Agreed. You wanna coach me on beating the DS sats? Seriously.

Depends what you're offering... bubble_lol.gif
Seriously though I really like the DS and used to play them v frequently to build my roll (obv selling the T$). As (originally) a sng player I just think the format is good, if you're genuinely interested I'll write some stuff up a bit later. Some general pointers that I use that people can add to and stuff. I'm rambling...If anyone fancies some double shootout discussion then let me kno and I'll start up a thread at some point...

It's just two SNG's dude...

Play an SNG game. Play for first though, that's your biggest change in the first round. You don't play for top 3, THEN 1st, your aim the whole way is 1st.

I'd be really interested to get one of those 180 SNG type threads started on the double shootouts. I believe the play is very weak in them and theres alot of money in them, but tbh, I don't think I'm playing as well as I could in them. So go right ahead....

Btw, if you are a top SNG player, take a look at my SNG strat and let me know what you think smile.gif

I would definitely like to get some discussion going on the ds sats. I understand that they're like playing two sngs, but seeing as how I am not very good (apparently) at one or two table sngs, I am interested in hearing how others approach these.

They play like SNGs... you should play then like SNGs... I don't really understand what else you want to discuss here...

If I read correctly, it basically boils down to this...
Chris thinks he sucks at both SNGs and d/s
