For anyone disputing the 3bet here, well let's look at how he played it. His flop play doesn't scream flush draw as most would 3bet to see a free turn or river so then if he's slowplaying Aces or Kings, then 3betting is correct here.

So I'm wondering, did I just push him off a bluff?

But I think given the draws here, if I believe I'm ahead, I have to 3bet, don't I?

I"m so tired =/

I like it. I play it the same.

What was your plan on the river if villain called turn? What if he capped turn?

3bet this 100% of the time.

This should not be a concern of yours here.
At all.
That logic in this situaiton will cost you lots of money.

If you have the absolute nuts and you are sure you can not be drawn out on...
When you call the turn and check the river to him in hopes that he bluffs once more,
You gain precisely 1 bet in this situaiton since he will fold his bluff to your river raise.
However, if he has a strong 2nd best hand,
You miss a ton of value by not allowing him to continue his overaggressive play on both the turn and the river.
So betting out is clearly the best option, even when you have the hand locked up.

But you don't have the hand locked up here!
The coordinated and dangerous nature of the board means 2 things:
- There is a good chance your set may get outdrawn.
- There is a good chance Villain is willing to chase.

Both of these things tell you that you must bet.

Playing it slow to possibly suck out one more bluff bet should be the furtherst thing from your mind.
You can gain a lot by staying aggressive.
And you can lose a lot by slowing down.
