About 45 players left - I've been playing the short stack for at least an hour.
Blinds 24K/48K, ante 2400
UTG: 165K
Me: 264K
UTG min-bets to 96K. folded to me in the BB with 59o.
My M is 2.8. Villain's range is top 80% which puts my preflop equity at 38%. I'm getting 2.2-1 on the call assuming we're all-in preflop, so from a pot odds perspective, this is a call. I'm not sure from a tourney perspective though.
I get to see another round if I fold here only having to post the SB. So do you push or fold?

When is the next payout jump? I think it's a fold, and would wait for FIV.

I really, really hate when people minraise my BB when I am short, which usually leads to me being overly stubborn. If it was suited or connected (both would be nice!) then I think we would have to call, but 95o isn't worth a call here imo.

easy fold imo... Given your stack, you can't afford to speculate with hands like this, even if you might be getting odds. You will need those chips to steal with very soon... More chips = More FE when you push.

I need at least 10 high, jk. I would fold and start my shove antics after this. Sometimes it is very difficult to get first in VIG in these though. So I'd open up my over shoving range pretty big too... probably 89suited+

You really think his minraising range is top 80%?
You don't think he'd be shoving if that was the case? I would venture to say that his minraise is showing a bit more strength. Or, he's trying to make it look like that.

Villain's M<2 so I could easily put him on any two. The min-raise could mean anything (strength or pretending to be strong when he is really on any two).
Villain basically has to call any bet from the BB if he didn't go in on this hand so I felt that his min-raise was meant more as a bluff since that would seem stronger than a push.

Yeah, ok, that's certainly possible, and definitely likely.
