I didn't like it.
ChrisRichey
I thought Napoleon Dynamite was funny the first time I saw it, but it got to be annoying. Donnie Darko was alright I guess, but nothing special imo.

I love Ghost World, I like Donnie Darko, and I hate Napolean Dynamite.
Moneyball16
Ghost World and Donnie Darko are good. Napolean isnt funny.

One movie I dont understand why people like is Million Dollar Baby. The characters arent likeable and its a yawnfest.
SuitedAces21
A movie I heard great things about, but that I didnt like at all when I saw it was "Lost in Translation"

Besides Scarlett Jo looking real good, this movie was a waste of time for me.

Understandable. I just find Bill Murray too funny to have included it in my list.
magnus72
I didn't like Donnie Darko at all. Napolean cracks me up everytime just for the tater tots and feeding ham to Tina.

Another movie that maybe I just didn't get or thought was just to hyped up was Jarhead.
brvheart
I don't get why people still like 2001 Space Odyssey. The special effects were amazing, but the movie itself is way to slow paced and pointless to be enjoyable to me. I throughly enjoy every other Kubrick movie I've ever seen though.

I love Bill Murray too. I guess the only way I can be disapointed by a movie is when I expect great things from it, and it lets me down. I mean, I dislike most movies, but the only ones I'll talk about how I didnt like it is, is one that I expected greatness from.
Governator
The Good Shepherd - I was lost by the end although it was probably because I wasn't prepared for such a slow, agonizing movie. Also, Lady in the Water I thought was just stupid?
BigDMcGee
Welll, that's because lady in the water WAS stupid.

This happens to me quite a lot the first time I see a movie. The most famous for me being the big lebowski, which I saw and kinda liked, but certainly didn't love or think it was that great. Then, I Went to college, got REAL stoned with a friend, was shocked that the movie was his favorite and he made me watch it, and a love affair was born.

Ghost world I think is overrated. It's okay, but not earth shattering. I remember at the time thinking that Scarlet Johanson was just the worst actress ever in her role. I was pretty shocked that she started getting roles in other movies... till I took a close look at her. I still think she's a garbage actress, but who cares, she's blossomed into just about the hottest woman in hollywood not alba or angelina.

If it doesn't spook you a little that that I'm even aware of these pictures, it should.

No, not at all, actually. I used to with Smash, but wih D it's sheer happenstance.

Plus, we're soulmates, and if you stand in our way, or belittle our connection, I'll take it as you being a jealous, catty, catty, female woman.

Why do I get the feeling Dutch would be in the corner hiding his eyes and asking when we're gonna get around to discussing Ayn Rand?

both have their moments, but all in all neither can hold more than an occasional chuckle

Napoleon Dynamite
Shaun of the Dead

as for flat out awful movies...Dude Where's My Car

Anything with David Spade in it deserves a hot, fiery demise. And, no, I won't give the willowy little midget another chance.

hated napoleon dynamite, loved shaun of the dead. can't wait for hot fuzz.

when i saw anchorman in the theatres, i thought it was one of the worst movies i'd ever seen. absolutely hated it.

about a year later when i watched it at a buddy's house, i couldn't stop laughing. love that movie now. not sure why i hated it at first......guess it just took time to appreciate the humor.

I love Ghost World, I fell asleep during Donnie Darko and for Napoleon Dynamite there are parts that are funny. I think this is a movie like Office Space, the more you see it, the funnier it gets. I didn't like Office Space the first time I saw it but now it is in my top 10 favorite movies.

The problem with this is that, to me, there was nothing redeeming about it that made me want to give it another try.
