Hey everyone, I just got a new dog from the local animal shelter. I've had him for about a day now and cannot think of a good name for him. I'm just not good at naming things I guess. I think my first child will go a week with no name at this rate. If any of you can think of good names for him, that'd be awesome. I'll attach a picture for everyone so you can see if the name fits right. Thanks!

Normally I'd like that name, but it reminds me of UNC coach Roy Williams too much (I'm a KU guy...and I don't really care for him anymore). More suggestions are appreciated though

He was actually a KU alum...UK is Kentucky. But good idea nonetheless.
I've decided to go with Cody. It's pretty vanilla in comparison with a lot of everyone's
creative names, but I like it. It's two syllables and easy to say.

Thanks for your input everyone!

Do you ever wonder what happened to the dogs they sent to space in the early days of the space program? I have a feeling they will come back to earth one day and really be pissed. I hope I am not around the day the super intelgent space dogs come back and exact there revenge. Damn this is some good weed.

Mean to the dog: Name him No, then watch the confusion every time you call him.
"Come here No! Come here No!"
Mean to other people: Name him Whatdog.
"Aww, that's a cute dog...what's his name?" "Whatdog?" "That dog right there...isn't he yours? What's his name?" "Whatdog?"
Since you're obviously into poker, you may as well take the obvious route and name him Doyle, Stu or Reese, those are pretty good dog names. Or you could name him after your favorite card in the deck (Ace, Deuce, Trey, etc...actually, that dog totally looks like a Trey).
Or just do what we did when I was a kid, take your favorite letter in the alphabet and start flipping through the phone book until you find a good name that starts with that letter.
Consider this though...you're taking the advice of a guy who has a Black Lab named Shadow.
It's not my fault, I didn't name him.

Person: What's the dog's name?
Me: Cat...
Person: No, the dog!
Me: Cat...
Person: Ok, what's the cat's name?
Me: Dog...
Person: I hate you and your face!
btw, my cat's name is "Budweiser ***** Brains"...but he goes by "Buddy".

I have a plan to name all of my future pets after epic videogame villains.
Gannon, KingBowser, and MotherBrain are the first three on the list....
I can't wait until the look on somebody's (wife?) face when I name our third dog "Mother Brain." I mean, Gannon's kinda weird, but in a cuteway. KingBowser's not bad, because you can just call him Bowser, and that's recognizable and cute.
But then I drop the hammer, and name the third dog- regardless of sex- MotherBrain. No getting around that one. I'm just weird, bitch!
