first.. i ask the question... do we always raise with aces in the hole preflop? I wasnt sure in this spot as i had very little to go along with my aces...

Then I'm lost on the turn.. should hero have checked for the free river card? I'm quite sure I'm beat, but I do have redraws to the boat.. is this an easier fold than i'm making out to be?

As for raising pf, I don't mind the way you played, a raise too often telegraphs your hand.

On the turn, good bet, REMARKABLY easy fold when it gets back to you.
You have redraws, yes, but you're holding half of your outs already in your hand.

The 6 and 9 on the board are already in your hand, giving you two less outs. If you had
the club flush draw, that might change things, but in this spot, you have to fold.
