What are some songs, books or movies you wish you wrote?
A kick in the junk to the first person to say any national anthem or the Bible.

It'd be nice if I had just an ounce of talent and be able to write anything halfway decent. That's my main goal.
And just to piss off Dutch, I wish I had written The DaVinci Code....

every single song by the weakerthans(john k. sampson)
if you've never heard of them good god go check them out(seriously it will make you a better person)
also i wish had written "the rooming house madrigals" by bukowski
i did write this:
And every time I think of you
It’s always the same
I can’t accept this diatribe of loneliness and wanting
I think of another time
A time that wasn’t ever actually there
But it’s real…….to me
I wonder exactly how much bleach you can ingest before it cleanses your life
I wonder how many drinks you can have before you’re no longer alive
Inside
I think of the times I walked away
Contemptuous and loathing
And how many times I could have easily just smiled and said “okay baby, that’s allright”
But now it doesn’t matter
Because I didn’t do those things
I fought tooth and nail for nothing
And now I’m just sitting here realizing
That I’m fatally yours
so yeah
that's that

I really wish I'd written Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, Wilco's finest album. I think the songwriting and arrangements are pretty great.
If I had to pick a movie, it'd be something like The Godfather II, because it's just so damn sweet.
And the book would be "Ender's Game." I respect good Science Fiction, and I've never been a very literary person.

I think being a literary snob is fine, but I'll take a billion dollars and the knowledge that I've entertained millions upon millions of people anyday.
It's a good story...anyone that can't appreciate that is right on that precipice of being just smart enough to know how smart they are (and be able to look down on everyone else), but not so smart that they can take a step back and see things from a different perspective. You're like the math professor that just doesn't understand Will Hunting. Or maybe like the majority of philosophy majors that.......I don't feel like finishing this thought.
Anyways, see what I did there? Yeah, me neither.

I guess my thing is that I don't want anything. I have plenty of money for the things I actually want, and have no actual use for more. And I hate people (especially the ones who would rather read HP than IJ), so entertaining them is almost a bad thing.
Not to say that one of my goals isn't to get as much money as possible, short of being seen as a super-genius.
