I heard he's fighting KenFlo over in Europe in the Summer on one of those UFC cards. BJ Penn is still dominant in his weight class, but I think Florian can pull off the upset if and when they fight.
No, BJ won't fight oversees and has said this. I think it is scheduled not for 101 in either Philly or Atlanta.

Affliction vs UFC 100? Sounds like a suicide mission for Affliction. Dana cant complain with his actions though. Might cost 200-300k buys. I am still going with 100 even if Affliction is free. Maybe a better shot for Affliction would be to go after the 101 event or even 98. But the games 2 biggest draws in 2 compelling matches is way to hard to turn down. Throw in Bisbing/Hendo for good measure.

bj is a lazy ass no doubt, but he really has out points kenny in every area of the game, having lost to gsp, he has to really show that he is a top notch fighter to be able to add any cred to the claim the gsp only won becuase he was greased, a motivated bj in the right weight class is pretty hard to beat

While I agree that is something that should make MMA not top ten lists for years, I think BJ goes two ways.. he either destroys Kenny and then Diego and tries for another GSP fight or he thinks he will run over Kenny and retire and might have a tough time, Kenny's heart makes him a warrior that I can see BJ having some trouble with.

I think the fact that Kenny Florian is training with GSP for his fight with BJ is an interesting X factor as well. One thing about BJ is he's so inconsistent. I'm a fan and every fight I wonder, "Has he been training hard enough? Is he going to be in good enough shape to go five rounds?". I think those are questions that usually get answered at the weigh ins too.

All major online sportsbooks have mma odds. Sportsbook.com, Pinnacle, I am currently using sportsinteraction and waiting for a decent cashout so if I have any issues I will post it here as 1 to avoid. Actually the best lines I have seen are at the Wynn in Vegas if that is conveneint for you. They have dime lines there as compared to the standard 15% that most have on mma.

Just a few points
1. BJ having his mother come in to the hearing is definitely retarded.
2. Florian will give BJ a tough time, too close to call for me right now.
3. I hope Machida beats Evans, Evans is too much of a thug and needs some humble pie.

there is a site that rates sportsbooks on things such as lines, deposit methods, and withdrawel issues
http://www.sportsbookreview.com/Of course I found this site after I moved money on to Sportsinteraction and their D+ rating. I got my documents registered and went to withdraw. They had a cap of $3000 withdraw at any one time which is really mickey mouse. I am expecting a check within 2 weeks so I will let you know.

if this is the type of stuff you're going to post more often, don't bother.
Evans may be a showboat, but he is far from a thug. He's a solid dude, college educated, married a cheerleader and seems like an all around decent guy. Melvin Guillard can be considered a thug, not Rashad Evans.
and if you want to start a list of guys that need to be humbled, there are plenty of white guys that can be on that list.

Pretty much agree, but bottom line is most fans don't get to see a lot of Rashad, and when he presents himself that way in his fights, that is just what people are going to think about him. Not saying its right, but if he wants to avoid it, stop presenting yourself in a way that people will draw these conclusions.

but seriously, what has he done that every other fighter doesn't do?
Does he do the big Liddell thing?
Does he do a back flip?
Does he did a grave and drag the body in it?
Does he do that stupid Vera dance?
Does he dance around like an idiot, then take the mic too long like Hamil?
after he knocked Liddell out, he did what looked like the Fred Sanford "this is the big one", which slayed me
I hate showboating, but I give fighters a bit of a pass after a fight. I am not a fighter, but it's got to be an emotional thing, espeically when you've just defeated a guy that was just trying to break your arm or choke you to sleep

It's not what Rashad (or anyone) does after winning the fight. These celebrations have become quite the norm. It's the way he behaves DURING the fight. That little video above is one example, but he does all kinds of showboating in the middle of his fights. It was really bad early on too; though he has toned it down some, so I give him credit for that. But too late for him in my book, will never like the guy.

I have less of a problem with him behaving like that during a fight than I do with some of the post fight stuff I see from many fighters. I see it during the fight as another mind game/way to get in your opponents head.

I see it as disrespectful. Whereas after the fight it's more like an end zone dance. Not necessary, but you are patting yourself on the back, not showing up the other guy to his face. (minus some exceptions obviously)
