Does anyone find teh competition during the day online harder than night? I noticed I win more at night then during the day. Im thinking, the regulars (possible pros.) are all on during the day and the crazy players are on at night. Anyone else notice this?

Agreed. Alcoholics come out to play at night, as well as a bunch of guys who are tired out from a day at work and just want to goof around.

I would also say that the potential for real life distractions negatively affecting the player's game is higher at night than during the day, especially if they have a family that would otherwise be out of the house at work or school.

More people play recreationally at night.
It's like having a bowling league on tuesday afternoons. Or having a beer pong tournament mondays at 4pm at college.
Er.. scratch that second example.

I really can't do better in the evenings than in the afternoons, even though the competition is easier, because my house is busy and it's distracting.
At night I'm too tired to play well.
But if you are a night person, you're golden.

I think its because more of the "pros" who do nothing but play online poker arr on during the day, and all the fish start after work and such

They may be pro's, but smart pro's long in just before the nightly rush to scope out their spots. Nothing like building a nice stack to dominate with all night long... 8)

Oh yes, very true. The fish that have regular jobs play at night, espcially Friday and Saturday nights. Oh how I just love those weekend nights!!

I have also noticed that I win the most money on Sundays . I guess all the fish that have nothing to do on Sundays are playing.

During the day, you get a lot of retired or stay at home spouse's who are regulars. Those players are usually very tight and only call when they have the goods. They may not play great poker but they will play good poker. I hardly ever play unless it's 3pm or later.
Would you rather play a table with 8 or 9 good players or one with 2 or 3 great/good players and the rest so-so to fish range.
