Anyone else love this show? I think Dule Hill and Rodan (the lead) have amazing comic chemistry. I cant stop laughing when I watch this show. Plus some great actors in tiny roles (Corbin Berensen as Sean's dad, Tim Osmundson as Lassiter)
SuitedAces21
Since its on after 'Monk', I watched it one time and i was NOT impressed.

I love this show too........it's great stuff and fun to watch. I especially like the dialogue they have. The jokes are pretty fresh too, so it's interesting to watch.

Of course, if you notice, 9 times outta 10, it's a woman who perpetrated the crime. I have a feeling the writers or the producers or whoever got fucked over badly by a woman
Balloon guy
I like the whole setting of having a fake pyshic solve crimes because basically he's a slacker and sneaking through life without getting caught.

Funny show.
runthemover
I love this show. Great characters. It's funny, silly, and fun.
IQCrash
I really like the show but I feel like it's missing something. That little something extra that makes Monk extraordinary, but Psych only good.
gkunit20
Great show.

Not as good as the early Monks, but it's >>>>>>>>>>>>>Monk season 4/5
Dirtydutch
I just watched the first episode. Very good.

My favorite quote:

"Can we buy some tickets to the policeman's ball?"
"Policemen don't have balls."
(Pause)
"I honostly have no response to that."
Shimmering Wang
I have a weird Man Crush on Dule Hill. I think it goes back to his work as Charlie Young, Assistant to the President on West Wing. Fiercely loyal, and fucking his boss's daughter.

It would be ironic (although unsurprising) if you got the USA network in Canadia. Possible though. If it comes out on DVD (which all shows do these days right?) I recommend the purchase.
Dirtydutch

It's all on bit torrent, anyway. Paying $50 a season is just not doable for most people in the age-range of this forum. It's like $400 a season, for something you're already paying for. Sometimes more. Just steal it, dude.
gkunit20
Damn, I love this show. The episodes just keep getting better.
runthemover
too bad we have to wait 'till july for new episodes!

Great show. All the actors do good jobs and the characters seem to fit well together. Sad I have to wait until the summer for more.
CaneBrain
New episodes start Friday!

Also I bought the Season One DVD. Extra features were pretty good.
BDPoolie
I enjoy this show too. It is very much like Monk in the way he solves the crimes. He sees little clues and puts them together so he can let everyone know "this is what happened".

I just don't understand the whole point of why he wanted to act like a Psychic? It seems like he'd get more work if he just told he he solved crimes from seeing and figuring out clues; but then we wouldn't have a show I guess.

It's good but Monk is still better.
CaneBrain
Season opener was no disappointment....another new episode tonight. The fake Simon Cowell was fantastic.....but Jules as a gung-ho choreagrapher stole the show.
Dirtydutch
I didn't even know is was back on. I like this show a lot.

New Episode tomorrow. Hopefully it was better than last weeks (which wasn't bad, just a tad predictable).

yeah it was lazy wasnt it. I thought the first two episodes of this season were awesome though so I let it go. Clear the girl "psychic" was the bad guy early on. Whatever. Tonight sounds promising
CaneBrain
last night's episode was fantastic......i call this knot little Sean.

dont you dare figure everything out while I am trying to teach you a lesson.......
vbnautilus
Best part of this show is Corbin Bernsen.
runthemover
it was funny that the actor playing the criminal was trying to be Dave Chappelle.
CaneBrain
new episode tonight.....

The childhood mystery was pretty obvious, I liked the model Shawn made of the classroom though, that was dope. icon_biggrin.gif
runthemover
yea no offense to anyone, but you should've figured out by now that this show isn't about solving the cases (if you've watched the show for some time now). it's about the characters (mostly Sean and Gus) and the dialogue.

yeah once you watch the show for a while, the bad guy is usually easily guessable by the 20 minute mark. however, the characters are so funny it doesnt matter. plus, you know WHO the baddie is but you dont know the how and why and Sean's explanations of the how and why are always classic.

thanks I saw Die Hard 2 last night, realized he was the leader of the traitor military group.

Next week's episode looks promising.

edit: but I had to follow the link to remember Uncle Burton was the girl's dad in coming to america. ---"They got the Big Mac. We have the Big Mick. They have the Golden Arches. We have the Golden Arcs."----classic!
gkunit20
I just saw the new episode. I thought it was the best one of the season. Frickin hilarious.
El Guapo
I watch Monk but it is usually tivoed, but the other night I watched this after it and it is actually really funny.
CaneBrain
"I've never been car sick a day in my life!!!"

another great episode last night.....
CaneBrain
weird episode tonight. funny moments but not great really.

I hope the finale next week is better
runthemover
I'm pretty sure this is just the summer finale. Same as last year where it'll turn up for a few more episodes in january.

Today's was like you said. O K. There were a lot of 80's references so that was good. But, yea it didn't have the normal punch.

I managed to finally catch last weeks. And, yes that was probably the best of this season

it was either that one or the food critic one where Gus' uncle Burton shows up. cant decide which was better
runthemover
did you smell his hair?

of course I did. It smelled like ginger blossoms.

fantastic finale.....loved the Hercules cameo. Plus the Sean/Jules teaser at the end for next season. Good stuff.
CaneBrain
and we are back. Christmas episode was good....new season open was better. Love Gus having an old annulled marraige. Love the competition between lassie-face and o-hara more.
El Guapo
This show is creeping up there with must watch for me, I have recently Tivoed it and I am catching up on past seasons and saw the pilot a few weeks ago. I just giggle when I watch this show, its not LOL funny like Always Sunny, its more giggle like a school girl funny.
