So I see the network will be down this morning for an update to the software.

Hi Dr Shakes, most of the improvements in the update involve things in the back end that player's won't see but are important for stability and security but there are some new features that players will see.
1. We have a lobby chat now that will open in a new window. You'll have to take the step to launch the chat.
2. The player's note feature will show an icon next to a player who you have a note on and the problem with notes not being saved when you log out should be fixed.
3. There are changes to the chat box and you can block the chat from players and observers.
4. The audible prompt when it's your turn now sounds after 15 seconds and then every 5 seconds and not as often as it did before.
5. The tournament start time that's now listed is the time that the tournament entries are closed.
6. There's a feature in the lobby to show your money in play. It may not be working properly at the moment as it doesn't show the entire balance that you have in your poker account.
Good to see some progress.

Several of my larger annoyances being fixed. *raised eyebrow* go on...

There is another change i've experienced. After about 5 minutes of idling and then trying to click on a new table in the ring game section, the client has an recoverable error and freezes/hangs/closes. I've been suddenly booted 4 times already. Happening to others i've spoke with too.

The DGN has told us that they are aware of the issue and working to fix the problem. If it happens again and you want to contact our support team directly and give a detailed report it may assist us in diagnosing the problem.

One of the times it happened it gave me the option to send in a detailed report of the error and I did so...

Yeah, that is a really nice feature. Is it just me, or does everyone get happy when the client updates when you start?
