Idiot: How can he raise? He checked.
Dealer: And then you bet 10.
Idiot: What? He checked.
Dealer: You bet, and he check-raised. It's allowed.
Idiot: I've never heard of that. You can't do that.
Dealer: . . .
Idiot: He can see how much I bet, and then raise?
Dealer: Yeah. There are some draw games where you can't check-raise, but it's almost always OK in hold'em.
Idiot: (to neighbor) Have you ever seen that?
