I c/c here, hu.

In my experiences, people will obv call with any pair, and any ace here, so there really isn't much value in a bet, since our kicker doesn't play. I'd hope he bluffed at it with a worse hand.
aim786
Yea, c/c is better here.

given that they Ax calls, i'm pretty safe since most people don't limp with Aj+

don't you think most pairs here are bet/folding? Making it easy to tell if i'm ahead or behind? Sometimes K high calls here as well

Bet and call are close enough that it doesn't much matter what you do. I don't see a hand with no showdown value (at least K-hi) calling the turn, so I think a bluff is really unlikely if we check. With our kicker not playing, we're not getting called by a lot that we beat here either. Still though, I think K-x calls this enough to make betting very marginally profitable.

King-high really should not have called the turn.
Even if he had a flush draw, it's a horrible play on a triple-board.

Villain should either have an Ace or a passively played pair.

I don't bet this river.
Because if I get called, I don't think I win the whole pot very often at all.

Do you check/fold here? Because I can't imagine a pair checking behind if we check the river. C/C and bet/fold are exactly the same if we're up against the two or something. Maybe king high calling is a little bit of a stretch, but it's the only situation where it really matters what we do on the river, and bad call or not, I've seen it before.

Iggy, you're losing 1 bet to a pair either way, and like you said, K-high almost never calls.

However, I think you definitely get random crap to bluff at you enough to call a bet, which is why I c/c all day long.

I meant king-high calling the turn is a little bit of a stretch. If it calls the turn, I think it's probably calling the river. I don't see "random crap" calling the turn at all.

On trip boards, two random over cards call the turn a ton of the time, man. Like, a ton of the time. And they usually fold the river if they don't boat up.

In an unraised pot after no flop bet? That $10 turn bet is almost half the pot. Actually, depending on the opponent, I think check/folding the river might be viable. Ace high's going to take a free showdown when checked to, and it's pretty darn unlikely for villian to show up with worse than that right now.

Why are you assuming a 5/10 player on TRIBECA is playing rationally?

Have you ever played on Tribeca?
