This is a prime example of why PLO is so juicy.

Yay. -3 buyins in 10 hands. I quit because I'm going to tilt. The same guy made a river wondercall with bottom two (and nothing else) after I had potted preflop, flop and turn with TPTK+NFD. He couldn't fold the river. ARGH!

I both hate and love PLO. I often play when I'm on tilt so that I either recoup all losses or I lose a little more. It works well in general.

I've been really been getting into 8-tabling NLHE over the past week, but I am going to keep up with a bit of PLO every now and then. I forgot how bad people are in general.

I want to get better at NLHE as well but i have so much fun playing Omaha i can't give up playing it.

Ok, just started playing for a while - I raise preflop with AQ64ss, flop of A63r. 1 opponent.

I pot the flop, he calls.

Turn 8

He checks, I put him in for about pot. He calls. He had A844r.

He called the flop with just A8. Ouchie. I had him on the straight draw.


EDIT: Need to stop bluffing the river with busted draws.

Had a few drinks tonight so i am just messing around mostly and luckily so is everyone else. +7 way flops , 4-5 way all ins, lots of fun chat. I love saturday night poker.

See, at a table where a guy has just called allin with just the As thinking he had a flush draw I am still a buyin down. I can't win big pots. I havent won a pot worth over a buyin in over 2k hands, and I have only won 3 pots worth over 100xBB in the last 5k hands. That is running bad.

That is running bad indeed.

And the only known cure is playing more hands. It won't stop the bad run but it will shorten the period.

Yeah. I've played a lot more recently, but its frustrating.

I need to get all my money into FullTIlt because I feel like I have a short BR at the moment.

Well, after a decent start today I ended about 4 buyins down. AAJTss in a huge preflop pot, flop of 456. KQT9s in huge 5-way preflop pot ($60 in preflop and we were all deep at $100PL) flop of J62.

This wasn't a good day. I need to run good soon. I really do. I still didn't win a big pot even playing omaha for 3 hours or so. How is that possible?
