Reads - Havent been paying that much attention since I was doing other stuff too while I was playing with a buddy that is pretty raw to shorthanded.

Still BB was playing everyhand and peeling flop and turn very lightly. Not sure what he would donk with.

UTG was pretty loose preflop too, but seemed to be alright postflop.

Preflop: Hero is Button with A icon_suit_spade.gif , 7 icon_suit_spade.gif .
UTG calls, 2 folds, Hero raises, 1 fold, BB calls, UTG calls.

Flop: (6.40 SB) 3 icon_suit_spade.gif , J icon_suit_heart.gif , A icon_suit_heart.gif (3 players)
BB bets, UTG raises, Hero 3-bets, BB calls, UTG calls.

Is this 3-bet standard? I wasnt sure what the donk bet and raise meant. Any alternatives to 3-betting?

Turn: (6.70 BB) 5 icon_suit_spade.gif (3 players)
BB checks, UTG bets, Hero raises?

Is this a standard free showdown raise when we pick up the flush draw? The free showdown raise when we are met with this much aggression is something I dont feel completely comfortable with.

Bleh, I never know what to do on flops like this, because the action tells us we are behind a ton, but we have TP damnit!

I don't hate the 3-bet, but to be honest, I don't like any of the options.

Turn, I think I just call. I'd rather have BB along to pay me off if I do hit my flush.

If the turn was heads up would you like a raise or a call better?

Your not behind on the flop that often, at least not at this level. However, the problem on the turn is that UTG either has a draw (most likely spades) or he is really strong. I'd lean towards calling down here instead of going for a free showdown raise.

Yeah, I like it better HU.

It all kinda depends. I mean, we have to decide whether we think our hand is good here or not. So, if we are good, there's really no reason not to raise the turn.

Also, if we think we are behind, then the semibluff helps when we have a read that he'd bet fold here. Thing is, I'm torn between trying to take it down UI, or whether or not we have the best hand here, even 3-ways.

I really don't know.

I think HU it's definitely a raise, but 3-handed, there is a bigger chance we are behind here, so I'd rather get paid off when I hit.
