Playing on tribeca I assume? It sucks when the maniacs hit, as he likely just hit his T or had the 4 all along, but you have to call this against a guy with those kinda stats.

If we've seen him "float" frequently, I go ahead and check/call this river. There are still a number of pairs that we beat and that we'd like to value-bet against more passive players, but against people this aggro, I prefer to let them bluff if they don't have it. Heck, he might even value-bet a small pair for us. Let me add that 88 is right on that cusp though. If this were 99/JJ, I'd definitely go ahead and bet/call it.

thanks guys, yea he had T9 of hearts. I was torn because of the guys stats i figured checking might be a little weak here since the only card I am really worried about is the T. But then again I suppose check calling was the way to go on the river, because if he had a hand like 9 high or something he would have deffinately bet.

I am going to be post a ton of hands as soon as I can get online at home.
