Ok Bob has said time & time again that Full Contact Poker can't speak for the network or other sites. Well enough is enough we have the right to know what we have been waiting for. Currently there is very little traffic on this site. We play the same people at all levels of ring games, there are no sit n go's and very limited tourney to choose.

Now Neteller has left the U.S. market what does that mean for us. Even less players than before. I stayed with Full Contact Poker because of the support, DN and the because I thought thing would be better then when we were with Ongame. I now think that the best is behind us.

The time is now talk to us now or there may be no one left to talk to.

Personaly i'm not as eager to get more players to the site before you have made some major updates. I mean what's the point of more players when the client doesn't work the way it is supposed to? That said, I really think we need more players But like I said, updates first, then let more sites on the network, get more people playing the site and so on...

Hi icemanrulz, as for other sites joining the Network we are told that there are sites joining the DGN that will move the meter and significantly increase the volume of players.

FCP isn't in a position to say who they are or when they will be integrated. I wish we could provide more details.

As for the software improvements the task is a large one and the software developers are hard at it. The process goes first to identifying the improvements that need to be made, then developing a solution. Then that solution needs to be tested and then implemented. All of these things take time and and usually more time then originally thought.

There should be a new release of the software out ( I hesitate to give a timeframe since it can only be an estimate ) within the next couple weeks that will address some of the software issues that players see.

I'm going to be brutally honest here. I played on this network back when PokerHost.com was a member of it. The software has been this way since I registered to PokerHost. The only software change that has occurred since then is the spreading of 3 Card Poker (which is worthless IMO, but different strokes).

Not only has it not changed, it has gotten worse. When I start with PokerHost, as far as I remember, the slider worked correctly for setting you all-in, and the amount you had on the table wasn't rounded so that you really had no clue what was going on. There was also (if I remember correctly) an easier way to input notes, but I could be wrong about that.

Regardless, this software has gotten WORSE, not BETTER, over the two years I have used it. I cursed at FCP the instant I saw what software it was.

If the developers were going to improve the software, they would. They have had two or more years to improve the problems that already occurred on this software. Not only have they not fixed the original problems which tons of people are already complaining about, they have let it regress to the point where there are MORE problems now than there were originally. Will they fix any of those problems? It's doubtful.

I've held out. I've kept money on FCP in good faith that something will break, and the sites promised would come. They haven't, and we don't even know which sites, if any, are coming. What's probably happened is the sites have looked at the problems FCP has had since re-launched, and second guessed whether they really wanted to join this network. And like I have stated above, the promised software fixes have not come, just like I expected they would. I know it takes a while, I know a little bit about programming, but 2+ years and all they have to show for it is MORE problems than the original versions makes me realize that this is not going to get fixed but only get worse.

I really do appreciate you guys attempting to stay live for Americans. That was class act Bob, so don't think that I'm completely bashing you or FCP. I, however, think you could've picked several networks over this to join. Absolute's network is astounding, with decent software, and good traffic. The same thing with UltimateBet. Both were viable choices. But you guys chose DGN which I think was an absolute mistake.

I also appreciate you remaining optimistic in this situation, but I think it's time to be realistic here. From someone who's watched this network for a long time, remaining optimistic with DGN will eventually lead to this site crumbling. I definitely don't want to see that happen. It's just completely illogical to hold on to DGN's promises that they have been giving out for 2+ years to not ever bring forth any results. The sites aren't coming. The software won't be fixed. Why do you think PokerHost moved to Tribeca?

The best thing that can be done right now is for you guys to swallow the pride of staying here and hoping for the better, and reattach the site to Absolute or UltimateBet. Right now, that's the only logical options I can see to keeping this site up.

Maybe this article will help relieve some of the stress around here. If they're showing off the new software at the end of the month, hopefully, it wouldn't be long before it's implemented.

Fledging online poker network, Digital Gaming Network (DGN) has seen an opportunity in the aftermath of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act and is working quickly to capitalize on it. Last week, DGN announced that it acquired Dobrosoft, the software company that had been providing the platform for its poker room.

As many online poker rooms scramble to find new homes after some networks have shut down to U.S. customers, this move by DGN shows that it is serious in establishing itself as a major player in the industry. Taking on the assets of Dobrosoft is a significant commitment by DGN, one that it would not make if it did not have plans to be around for a long time.

DGN’s spokesperson, Nicole Sims, said of the purchase, “Dobrosoft's core software platform and untapped market potential is a cornerstone of our efforts in creating a leading alternative to existing multi-player software networks. We have already invested heavily in operational infrastructure and upgrades to the products scalability. We will be working diligently to continue to build on this base and to take the product to a whole new level.”

The biggest name client currently on the network is Full Contact Poker, Daniel Negreanu’s online poker room. FCP moved to DGN at the beginning of December, fleeing from the Ongame Network. DGN plans to announce the addition of several more clients in the weeks and months to come.

DGN will be showcasing its new software and features at the International Casino Exhibition in London January 23-25.

when things improve (preferably what's bolded) i'll happily redeposit. FCP has been good to me, but I had to stop the bleeding from playing on software that I simply couldn't get comfortable with and move what was left of my money off.

I won't hold my breath, but if it's good, I'll be happy.

I don't mind the small things that you have to get used too. Everyone is going to have something else to compare it to and it won't be to their liking.

Bottom line is, I still get to play poker at home.

What I am a little disappointed in is the lack of tournaments and the lack of people playing omaha.

I was playing against one guy in omaha but he was such a luck box that the river would always give him a higher full house than the one I had. Or it would fluch him to beat my straight. Anyway enough rambling about that.

I would really like to see more tournaments, SnG's etc.

I appreciate everything you have done for us so far FCP and I hope the improvements will be enough to bring in new players.

I await the upgrades.

Until then I am just glad to be playing again after my self imposed work related hiatus
