ANy computer savy people please help
So I was on BearShare and downloaded a couple of sports files that were NOT .avi or .mpeg, but .wmv (windows media viewer, I presume). WHen I went to play these files they would not comeup and it said I required some kind of license. :? :?
So what is this license I need to get, where do i get it? From my fairly extensive search it sounds like you need to play for it, ( or not b/c of some kind of "crack" code). I even tried Microsoft and I couldn't seem to find the right thing. I downloaded the newest version of Window Media Player and had no luck, I even downloaded osm ecodec's that were "supposed" to fix the problem.
There must be a way to play these files, b/c I see so many of them available. Any help would be much appreciated, I dont' really know of many computer guys that could help me. Any input helps.

there has got to be something you can do. if the person who created has this license, rhen you would think that we could get it.
Jay look for a file called "freeme" I was told that can help the .wma files.

I grabbed a bunch off of limewire and couldn't listen because the license expired after the 10th person had it. Its gay.
Pretty soon people are going to charge you a quarter to listen a song.
